Flat
Good for those looking for a 10K PB
Very enjoyable and low budget event. Make sure that everyone can hear though to the introduction at the beginning. Some of us are hard of hearing.
What does 'claim' mean next to my results?
nicely organized fun running event
Lovely race with great views.
Really nice race, timing chips would have been nice.
Well-organised event along a beautiful stretch of seafront
This is the second time I've run the Worthing Seafront 10k. The location and setting are incredible and, so long as the wind doesn't factor too highly, this is a good PB course. This year the start and finish were better located, which made for an improved experience.
Brilliant event. 1st time runner and thoroughly enjoyed it
Beautiful run
A great race
Fast but not actually 10k long
It was meant to be accurately measured but was short by roughly 80-100m.
Distance markings would be good (not all runners will carry a GPS watch, e.g., beginners!)
This being a small event, most people on the path did not seem aware there were runners.
But the event was cheap, easy to reach and the sea view is unbeatable.
Great scenic friendly race
Really enjoyed this race, great scenary and friendly.
A couple bits I felt need tweaking...
- the start...bit clearer and a megaphone may have helped to hear instructions and warm up
- signs up to advise public a race was going on, it was obvious but people may have moved out the way a bit more, there was lots of "traffic"
- Marshalls bit more visible,
- water was great but water in sport bottles are easier.
- km/m.markers
Good venue, good staff
One or two pace markers during run for Sub 50 and Sub 60 would be beneficial for most age groups
Great flat run with views of the sea
Nice to road by the sea.
Would have been nice to have more distance signs to help with pacing. Especially towards the end.
Farley small event , marshals were minimal but friendly , great value for money ,..medal and tshirt for finishers
chip timings
Chip timings sent to individuals e mail/text.
Km marking posts
Toilets...
If doing t-shirts make them event specific...not generic to the organiser, or, ditch the t-shirts for a better medal.
nice flat course. bit congested on way back with general public but otherwise fine.
Great, small, friendly event.
Just a thought on the environmental impact. Given lots of plastic cups and leaflets, but was told they weren't recycled.
Good run :)
There should be more marshals throughout the run just for safety reasons and maybe a proper start /finish point ( like a blow up one) so it's easy to see. Other than that it was good. We were late starting too. At the start towards the back we had no idea what was going on and couldn't hear. A megaphone would help with that. We didn't know the race had even started. The warm ups we didn't hear either. There wasn't enough bottles of water either. There needed to be more advertising and promotion there to show there was a run on and what it was for. The run was good though and I enjoyed it. I would do it again.
