This was my first 10K and really enjoyed it. A nice route and only a small bit in the field around the 5k mark where we double backed. The only tiny bit was right at the end, I wasn't 100% sure where to go in to finish as it wasn't clear coming off the promenade, however outside of that, a very good event.

bad bits - I was at the back & felt as though it was over by the time I got to the finish - "oh yeah, grab a medal" I was told. Shame the medals are so generic for MCC - would've been nice to have the date or Worthing written somewhere on the band or the medal itself though I do appreciate this was probably to keep costs down & actually, I would be happy with no medal or a wood one.
Too much single use plastic - bottles of water being given out & a plastic cup of water (I was given two as they were stuck together) at the end. There are more environmentally friendly options in this day & age.
Good bits - friendly organisation - I loved the simplicity of it. Parking really easy. Fast flat course (well, if it weren't for the darned headwind on the way out!!). Wonderful views. Thank you!

Really good value fun run. Less intense and formal than other races. Would definitely do again!

The few organisers were always patient but looked hard pressed. More planning would have helped them and entrants, e.g. displaying the range of entry numbers at the registration desks so people got in the right queue for their bibs. With the unattended baggage area in the middle of the green, though perhaps it was observed from a distance, it all seemed a bit ad hoc. One of the marshals near the halfway point shouted, 'Drinks station ahead', but wherever it was I missed it. Low entrance free so accessible to more people but no giveaways at the end. Forget medals, T-shirts, and electrolyte sports drinks; there wasn't any fruit or water obviously visible either. It didn't matter. The sun shone and the vibe was upbeat throughout.

I like the late/on the day registration that is missing from most other race organisers.

Good event for under £20 but could do with some improvements imo
- no signs of any toilets anywhere so we had long queues to go to cafe and Splashpoint loos beforehand
- couldn’t hear instructions so a megaphone would be helpful
- no bins provided or bin bags to collect all the plastic bottles and cups during and at the end of the race and lots were left around the beach and green
Otherwise friendly and we had a good time

A nice low key event, felt essentially like two park runs back to back. Friendly staff. Very pleased to receive a medal at the end, water was provided during the race. I’d recommend!

A better description of where/how far away public toilets were. A loud speaker that you could hear from the back of the start. Maybe a couple notices up for the public to be aware there was a race on.

Otherwise a lovely event. I'd ask for chip timing, but for entry under £20 I'll definitely come back. Thank you.
